(ECNS) -- "Democracy and diversity that used to be true of America's great strengths, right now are in many ways sources of division and polarization," Amy Chua, Professor from Yale Law School, as well as the author of "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother," said at the dialogue program "Cultural Relativity."
Amy Chua emphasized that the dominance of whites in American society is now in jeopardy, and anti-immigrant sentiment is growing. People from all other groups feel threatened. Politicians are aiming to get more votes. Therefore, various social problems have emerged in America.
"For the first time in U.S. history, whites are about to lose their majority status at the national level. This has resulted in all kinds of people feeling threatened," Amy Chua said, adding that "White people now feel that our countries being taken away from us. You see in the United States right now a lot of anti-immigrant sentiment, and you see politicians increasingly getting votes."
Biased Idea.
