　　当地时间9月7日，特朗普在新闻发布会上再一次抨击该报道的记者杰弗里·戈德伯格，称他“履历背景非常糟糕”，并指责他是亲民主党。特朗普还说：“这是一种耻辱，谁会这么说？只有动物才会说这样的话。”

　　当时特朗普点到了路透社记者梅森，梅森起立向特朗普提问，但由于戴着口罩距离又比较远，特朗普或许没有听清，他要求梅森将口罩摘下：“你得把口罩摘了，请把口罩摘了，你离我多远？”
